Warning: This blog is still under construction. Many things will look, and be, incomplete for a while, until I've got everything properly set up. I'll remove this message once it's all put together properly.
So the plan is, from now on this will be a public place where I put
up things I write in an effort to get some good old criticism and
opinions on my work, as well as hopefully please some people with my
writings. Someday I hope to actually publish something in a book, and
that won't be here if I ever do, but until then, well, here we go.
At the moment, I'm pretty sure there will be four different kinds of posts I'll be putting here, and here's what they are:
-Story Fragments
are bits and pieces of unfinished long stories I'm working on or
thinking of working on, or just felt like writing for one reason or
another.
-Short Stories are complete, finished, brief tales, small enough to comfortably fit in a single post.
-Adventures are interactive stories encouraging reader
involvement in the form of commands, suggestions, and of course
commentary, the former two of which directly influence events in the story. My use of this format of writing is inspired by the
wonderful Andrew Hussie, whose work can be found at mspaintadventures.com/. My adventures will be posted both here and at the MSPA Forums,
and this blog is sort of the back-up area for them since they all start
over there, so if you are a member of those forums please put your
suggestions and comments in the form of posts over there. If you'd
rather put them here than sign up for the forum that is completely
understandable and allowed, and I will do my best to include you.
-Poetry is poetry. Duh. I'm actually not sure I'll be putting much of this up, because I'm pretty terrible at it.
Aaand that's about all there is to it. Let me know if this is too confusing or something, I'll try and correct myself.
